Asian pear, or “Apple pear” is a species of pear native to China. Unlike the more common European pear, the Asian pear is round, crisp, and tart, while still having the distinct pear taste we all know and love from European pears. This specific cultivar is noted for being extra sweet and resistant to frost and disease. It is fully self-fertile. All our pears are offered on semi-dwarf rootstock.
