Prunus cerasus 'Montmorency'
The Montmorency tart cherry is the most popular tart cherry in the United States and Canada, frequently used in cherry pies, jams, and preserves. It produces a large, light red fruit, and grows well in Zones 4 – 9. This cultivar is self-fertile and offered as a standard size tree.
