Cortland Apple
Mutsu domestica 'Cortland'
The Cortland apple was developed in 1898 by a professor of Cornell University in Geneva, New York. It is a cold-hardy variety known for it’s sweet, slightly tart flavor and snow-white flesh that resists browning. An excellent all-purpose apple, good for fresh eating, pies, sauces, and cider.
